The Foundation for Marshall Medical Centers and LifeSouth Community Blood Centers are excited to partner for the Annual Reeling for Life Bass Fishing Tournament on Lake Guntersville.
The money raised from Reeling for Life will be donated to help save the Patient Navigator Program at the Marshall Cancer Care Center and to LifeSouth’s Five Points of Life Foundation.
Marshall Cancer Care Center’s Patient Navigators remove roadblocks to cancer treatment, and with a significant amount of patients lacking insurance or the resources to pay for their care, there is no denying this is a trying time for both patients and families. Current grant resources are not enough to maintain the Patient Navigator program which is why the Reeling for Life proceeds will be so critical.
The Five Points of Life Foundation is helping create a healthy, productive generation that understands the importance of lifesaving donations for their community. It is dedicated to programs like the Kids Marathon and Five Points of Life in the Classroom - often childrens' first experience with the five ways to share life with others. It is the goal of Five Points of Life to invest in children today to change the future for generations to come.
